About the Author
Kathryn Abdul-Baki is half-American and half-Arab, born in Washington, D.C. and raised and educated in the Middle East and America. She moves seamlessly between Western and Middle Eastern sensibilities in character and setting. She has written two other award winning novels and a book of short stories, and has completed her fifth book, a novel, "Hotels: A Marriage in Four Seasons", set around the world, but the first work by Abdul-Baki with completely American characters.
