The Martino reprint, with eight pages of the original to each page. A magnifying glass is recommended. Hardcover. Condition: Very Good condition. Dust Jacket Condition: No jacket, as issued. Mini-Print edition. New York: Mini-Print Corp, 1967. Volume 2 only (of 2) from the Mini-Print Corp. 29 volumes in 2 edition. Very Good condition. NOT a library discard. NO owner's name or bookplate. No date (but 1967?). THIS IS VOLUME 2 ONLY. It contains about 15 volumes worth -- all the bibliographical details and scholarship from the second half of the original 29 volume edition. No bibliographical reference library is complete without Sabin. In BIBLIOGRAPHY, ITS HISTORY AND DEVELOPMENT, Breslauer/Folter call this: "the most important of all Americana bibliographies, comprising well over 100,000 entries." They go on to say: "Sabin, a New York bookseller, started this compendium, but it was Wilberforce Eames, the learned bibliographer at the New York Public Library, who added an immense amount of out-of-the-way detail." The work was brought to a conclusion by R. W. G. Vail in 1936 with assistance from Dr. Lawrence C. Wroth and many others. Includes collations, locations, notes on contents, etc. Oblong. 9.75" wide by 7.75" tall by 2" thick. Bound in the original gilt-stamped maroon cloth. Sheehy AA563. Besterman 309. This large, heavy book will require extra postage for Priority and International shipments, but only the standard charge for media mail. Mini-Print edition. Oversize Hardcover.
