About the Author

Paul D. Groves is a scientist with the Navigation and Positioning Algorithms Team at QinetiQ, Ltd., based in Farnborough, Hampshire, U.K. He is a fellow of the Royal Institute of Navigation and is a member of its technical and R&D committees. He is also a chartered physicist of the Institute of Physics. He studies at the University of Oxford, where he earned a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in physics and a Ph.D. in atomic and laser physics.
