About the Author

Alex Galis is a visiting professor at University College London, U.K. He was the coordinator of the FAIN project He is the author and coauthor of 4 books and of more than 100 papers and technical reports on telecommunications technology.

Spyros Denazis is a senior researcher with Hitachi Europe, where he was a FAIN workpackage leader. He is the author and coauthor of more than 20 scientific papers.

Célestin Brou is a senior researcher at the Fraunhofer Institute for Open Communication System FOKUS, Berlin, Germany. He was a workpackage leader in the FAIN project. He is the author and coauthor of more than 15 scientific papers.

Cornel Klein is employed by Siemens AG, where he works on strategic product planning for information and communications networks. He was a workpackage leader in the FAIN project Hardcover. He is the author and coauthor of more than 20 scientific papers.
