About the Author
W. Cothran Campbell, a former advertising executive, began Thoroughbred ownership in the 1960s and developed Dogwood Stable. Dogwood's Thoroughbreds have won some of America's most prestigious races, from the Preakness Stakes to the Breeders' Cup. He lives in Aiken, South Carolina.
