About the Author

Katharine Delavan Dyson, born and raised in Skaneateles, NY, can trace family roots in the Finger Lakes back for six generations. She is the author of "100 Best Romantic Resorts of the World, writes two columns for several newspapers on travel and food, and contributes to many travel and lifestyle publications including Modern Bride, Golf Digest, Where to Retire, Bride & Groom, Skywritings, Virgin Atlantic Airways' Muse, Fitness and other magazines. She is a member of the Society of American Travel Writers and Golf Writers Association of American and winner of the Quill & Trowel Award for garden-related writing.
