It's often said that for every creative problem, there's more than one solution. Rethink Redesign Reconstruct is a book built on this principle. Author Mark Wasserman creates a unique experiment in design that's much like the process of remixing music. Here's how it works:
RE:THINK
Top designers were given the source files to one of 37 print or electronic designs and asked to reinterpret the original art into new creations. They could use as many or as few of the original elements as they wished. Then the author interviewed each designer to learn how they approached the process, what their inspirations were, and how they really felt about the other designs.
RE:DESIGN
Rethink Redesign Reconstruct is filled with over 220 visuals, most of which were created especially for this book. Packed full of inspiration, this book allows you to see the process behind each design by providing detailed question-and-answer sessions with each designer.

About the Author
Mark Wasserman co-founded Plinko, a San Francisco graphic design shop, with his wife Irene Ng in 1997. The firm's eclectic client list includes everyone from Quannum Projects and Garageband.com to Hyatt and American Express. Mark lives in San Francisco, California.
