About the Author
MIKE TOWLE is a veteran sportswriter and author of several books on sports figures, such as Roger Staubach, Walter Payton, Johnny Unitas, and Ben Hogan. A former sportswriter at the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, The National, and The Sporting News, he is president of TowleHouse Publishing and lives in Nashville, Tennessee.
