About the Author
Mariellyn Hilgaman, MEd, received a bachelor's degree in Bible and Christian education from Houghton College in Houghton, New York, and a master's degree in early education fro the University or Maryland in Collgeg Park, Maryland. For many years, she taught kindergarten at an international school in Santa Cruz, Bolivia, and kindergarten, first grade, and second grade in the United States. She now works as the school development and early education coordinator in the ACSI Latin America Regional Office in Guatemala.
