Synopsis
Beatrix Potter drew from her love of nature to create timeless stories featuring an unforgettable collection of some of the most wonderful animal characters ever created. In The Tale of Peter Rabbit , Peter's mother has warned her children to stay out of Mr. McGregor's garden. Flopsy, Mopsy, and Cotton-tail obey their mother but Peter just can't resist. In The Tale of Mr. Jeremy Fisher , Mr. Fisher is a frog that loves to catch little fish for dinner. He better be careful, because as he finds out, some of the bigger fish are really quite fond of frog. The Tale of Squirrel Nutkin is an enchanting tale about a tail that belongs to a squirrel named Nutkin. Perhaps he shouldn't tease Old Brown the Owl so very much. The Pie and the Patty Pan is about a cat named Ribsy invites her dog friend Duchess to dinner. Duchess is afraid the menu will include mouse pie and the lengths she goes to for a meal more to her liking makes for quite an amusing tale.
