About the Author

Dr. Rainer Hattenhauer studied Physics and Math at the Univeristy of Goettingen, Germany. After studying computer simulation and data compression methods for his thesis, he became intimately involved with the efficient storage of data onto PC. Dr. Hattenhauer is currently a teacher of computer science, physics, and math and developed a Videoserver for DivX-Materials with his students.
