Synopsis

Rosenius plumbs the depths of spiritual truth to bring the reader to true peace with God. Born in Sweden in the early nineteenth century, Rosenius passed through many spiritual struggles. From these experiences he gained an understanding of the magnitude of sin, the mysteries of God's grace, and the nature of true faith. As editor of the monthly periodical Pietisten (The Pietist). he wrote on such themes as the purpose of hte law, the meaning of the cross, justification by faith, conversion, and the origin and nature of true piety. Though written 150 years ago, these timeless translations from The Pietist are as much needed by the restless souls of today as they were during Rosenius' time.
