Reviews

Philip Randall is a successful lawyer with a rich wife and a lovely mistress who happens to be his wife's best friend. But then his wife runs into Tyler Mills, a guy Randall knows from prep school who has never fired on all burners. Now everything goes wrong in a bad way, and Frank Whaley is there with his gravelly voice and harsh New York accents. Whaley rounds out each two-dimensional character with a loud, sometimes annoying, voice that booms abruptly over the narrative. As Randall figures out how to turn his life around, the listener will be fiddling with the volume and wondering what could possibly go wrong next.
