About the Author

William R. Parkhurst, Ph.D., CCIE #2969, is a Consulting Systems Engineer for Cisco Systems supporting Sprint. Prior to joining Cisco Dr. Parkhurst was an Associate Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Wichita State University where he helped establish the first Cisco CCIE Preparation Laboratory. Parkhurst is developing CCIE training and content focusing on BGP, and as such is a leading authority on the needs of the Cisco professional and CCIE candidate.
