About the Author

Tom Copeland is Chief Corporate Financial Officer at Monitor Company in Cambridge, Massachusetts and a professor at MIT's Sloan School of Management. Formerly, he was partner and head of the corporate finance practice at McKinsey & Company, a member of the finance faculty at UCLA's Andersen School of Management and an adjunct full professor of finance at NYU's Stern School of Management. Vladimir Antikarov joined Monitor Company in 1992 and has recently concentrated on building Monitor's capabilities and serving clients with real options. He has an MBA from Boston University where he is studying for a doctorate in finance.
