From School Library Journal:
Grade 2-4-These three books offer glimpses into the various people who work within these various locales, while maps show the specific areas. Each book highlights at least 12 possible positions, although it is not made clear that not all facilities will have all of them. Library includes jobs such as property clerk, community relations and development manager, and senior building engineer. Each page contains a paragraph of text and a captioned, full-color photo of an individual at work. A simple description (seven sentences or less) of the responsibilities as well as the type of training needed are provided for most of the jobs. Many words are not defined or have poorly worded definitions in the glossary. For example, in Courthouse, "guilty" is not defined. In Zoo, "medical" is defined as "to do with doctors or medicine"; in Library, "degree" is defined as "rank that a college gives a student who has finished his or her studies." Serviceable titles at best.
