Flowers can add to your decor with color, texture, and aroma, and the perfect floral arrangement can be a stunning touch for dinner parties, holidays, or simply celebrating the season. Wagner makes these arrangements more attainable and much less daunting. She starts by covering the different types of flowers and accents that lend themselves well to various types of arrangements as well as going over supplies and basic techniques and tools. Her descriptions and explanations are clear and useful even before she launches into the detailed how-to instructions for the different arrangements she features in her projects section. The arrangements themselves run the gamut from simple and delicate (Mother’s Day bouquets), to whimsical and fun (“Family Supper”), to downright classy (“To My Valentine”).
