About the Authors

Lyn Malone works as an educational consultant specializing in classroom applications of geospatial technologies.


In 1999, Anita M. Palmer and Roger Palmer founded GISetc., an organization that helps educators develop their skills in teaching geospatial technologies to students from kindergarten to the college level. Palmer has trained thousands of teachers in GIS fundamentals and taught them how to use GIS in their classrooms.


Christine L. Voigt is an award-winning educator and freelance curriculum writer from Dallas, Texas. She serves as a teacher consultant for National Geographic Society and a member of the ESRI K-12 Authorized Teaching Program.
