About the Author:

Linda Bauer is a self-syndicated food and travel columnist reaching 3.4 million people weekly. She is the co-author, with her husband Steve, of Recipes from Historic Texas. A resident of The Woodlands, Texas, outside of Houston, she is currently running for a second term on the Texas State Board of Education.
