Larry Corbett brings to the book more than 20 years experience as a pastor in the Presbyterian Church. A graduate of Muskingum College in New Concord, Ohio and Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, Larry earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. During his time as a pastor he has served seven churches:

Fox Chapel Presbyterian, Pittsburgh; Fairmount Presbyterian, Cleveland Heights, Ohio; Lakeview Presbyterian Church, St. Petersburg; Westminster Presbyterian Church, Phoenix; Valley Presbyterian Church, Scottsdale and Pinnacle Presbyterian Church, Scottsdale.

Larry and his wife, Meredyth, have been married thirty seven years and have two adopted bi-racial children. They enjoy five grandchildren, one of whom they have custody of like millions of other grandparents in our land who are "starting over." Larry is an active Rotarian, and is the charter president of the Pinnacle Peak Rotary Club.

A "people person," Larry seeks to bring substance and depth of meaning to church and public relationships.

Larry and Jerre Stead, his co-author, met when Jerre and his wife, MaryJoy, moved to Scottsdale and joined Pinnacle Presbyterian Church in 1997.

Jerre’s accomplishments read like a page from Who’s Who in American Business. Jerre retired as Chairman and CEO of Ingram Micro in 2000 and is now Chairman of both HAIC/HIS and BMC. Jerre joined the firm Ingram Micro in 1996 with a proven track record; known for his great vision and global expertise. When Jerre took Ingram Micro public in 1996 it was the largest IPO in history for a technology company. Ingram Micro grew from $8 Billion to a global $30 million under Jerre’s leadership, doing business in more than 120 countries. In the year 2000, the firm was number 41 in the Fortune 500 listing.
