About the Author
Kent P. Jackson is a professor of ancient scripture at Brigham Young University, where he has taught since 1980. He earned his Ph.D. degree in ancient Near Eastern and biblical studies from the University of Michigan. Brother Jackson is the author or co-author of many articles and books, including The Restored Gospel and the Book of Genesis, Joseph Smith's Commentary on the Bible, and Joseph Smith's Translation fo the Bible: Orignal Manuscripts. He is the co-editor of the Studies in Scripture series. He and his wife, Nancy, live in Orem, Utah.
