Brent L. Top, professor and former associate dean of Religious Education at Brigham Young University, holds bachelor's, master's, and Ph.D. degrees from Brigham Young University. He is a popular speaker and is the author of many books and articles on religious, educational, historical, and sociological subjects. Among his books are: The Life Before; Forgiveness: Christ's Priceless Gift; Follow the Living Prophets; and Doctrinal Commentary on the Book of Mormon, volume 4. He is married to the former Wendy Cope, and they are the parents of four children.
