Shawn Richardson started exploring bike paths in Ohio during vacations in 1980. He has been a member of the national Rails-to-Trails Conservancy from its inception in 1986 and published his first book on bicycle trails in 1996. Shawn has worked as a cartographer for the Ohio Department of Transportation since 1988 and lives in Worthington, Ohio.
