Synopsis
South Scotland, 1850. Life is getting tough for Andie and Jessie as their livelihood as shopkeepers is taken from them by their irate landlord. Jessie is pregnant and Andie cannot find work. Their brother John strikes it rich in Australia and sends for them. On the way, they are shipwrecked on a desolate island. Jessie gives birth on the beach. John, meanwhile, has gone into hiding after a murder. Can Andie and Jess be rescued? And what of John hiding out at Hanging Rock?
