Celeste Baine received a degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from Heald Institute of Technology, her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from Louisiana Tech University and her Masters of Education from the University of Phoenix. She has received the 2004 Engineering Dean's Council Award for the Promotion of Engineering Education and Careers, the National Collegiate Medical Professions Award, and won the National Collegiate Engineering Professions Award three years running. Ms. Baine is an avid lecturer and has spoken at NASA-SHARP, the Department of Defense, the Girl Scouts of America, the California Science Teacher's Association, the Association for Science and Technology Centers, and the Science Factory. Ms. Baine has also spoken to thousands of potential engineers in high schools, colleges and career centers throughout the United States and Canada.
