Author Tim Gartside runs his own photographic and design company in London, and is a renowned landscape photographer with pictures being published in many books and magazines. Tim was born in Blackpool, Lancashire, in 1965. He studied graphic design, photography, and advertising at art college. After gaining his degree, he lived for three years in Spain. While there, he worked for a French photographer on magazine assignments all over the southern half of the country. Drawing on his own photographs of Spain, he produced a book Called "Andalusian Landscapes" (1997). Tim has also lived in Florida. He writes articles and supplies photographs to many UK national photographic magazines including Photography Monthly, Amateur Photographer, Practical Photography, Digital Photo, and in the past for Photo Answers, Photo Technique and What Digital Camera. Tim now lives in London working as a freelance photographer, and running his own design and photography business working mainly in the property industry.
