About the Author

Steve Biskie is co-founder and Managing Director of High Water Advisors, a consultancy that specializes in improving GRC processes through the use of technology.  Steve has 20 years' experience in audit and compliance, including public accounting (as a former Deloitte manager), private industry, and with specialized risk management consulting firms.  

Steve is considered an international expert in SAP audit issues, including Governance, Risk, and Compliance. He has published  numerous audit-related topics for the SAP Professional Journal, written articles for SAP GRC Expert, and has been invited to speak at the SAP Insider series of conferences for 8 consecutive years. He has been the keynote speaker at two of these conferences and is the preferred presenter for all audit and control-related topics. Steve also teaches beginner through advanced SAP auditing courses through the MIS Training Institute.  He was an expert reviewer for the book Security, Audit, and Control Features:  SAP ERP (3rd Edition), and is the author of Surviving an SAP Audit.
Steve is an accomplished public speaker on the topics of audit, risks, and controls, with a focus on technology.  He is an IIA All-Star speaker, thought leader and facilitator throughout industry events in North America and abroad).
