About the Author

Mari J. Frank, an attorney, professor, expert witness, and  certified privacy and identity theft expert, authored The Identity Theft Survival Kit and Safeguard Your Identity: Pro­tect Yourself with a Personal Privacy Audit.;From Victim To Victor: A Step By Step Guide Fore Ending the Nightmare of Identity Theft. Ms. Frank has appeared on dozens of national  TV shows including Dateline, 48 Hours, The O'Reilly Factor; Investigative Reports, Montel; NBC, CNBC, Geraldo and  has been interviewd on over 300 radio shows, testified several times before the U.S. Senate, the Federal Trade Commission, and the Social Security Administration, and presented a televised C-Span speech at the White House regarding financial privacy.  She hosted her own PBS TV Special-Identity Theft : Protecting Yourself in the Information Age. Since 2005 she has hosted her own radio show, Privacy Piracy 88.9 FM in Irvine, California.
