Synopsis

Each chapter in The Concise Knowledge Base is represented in this workbook with learning goals, practical exercises, and self-evaluations. The exercises can be used as general practice, or students can use them to research, design, and write up their own studies. The workbook’s exercises are organized around five key areas involved in conducting research: * Language: the specific terms used by researchers to describe their methods and results
* Concepts: the theoretical explanations of the methods
* Skills: what researchers do.
* Product: the tangible result of each step of the research process
* Journal: a place for students to rate their progress and record their impressions of the research process
