In the 21st century, managers will play a crucial role in operating organizations of every conceivable size, in every industry classification, and in many geographical locations. As teachers of management, Duening and Ivancevich have learned along with their students that managerial concepts that fit so well in one setting are often misaligned in other settings. The practice of management is challenging, simple, mysterious, rewarding, and frustrating all at the same time. Managing Organizations: Principles & Guidelines will invite your students' interest, continuous learning, and attention to managerial tasks, responsibilities, and functions.
