Leo Depuydt was educated at Yale University (Ph.D. '90), the University of Tuebingen, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the Hebrew Union College in Cincinnati, and the Catholic University of Leuven. He teaches in Brown University's Department of Egyptology and Ancient Western Asian Studies and lives in Norton, Massachusetts.
