John Ambrose was born and raised in the small rural town of Jefferson, OH. After graduation from high school, he earned his bachelor of science degree in business administration, finance, from John Carroll University. Inspired by the events of 9/11, he enrolled in the fire academy and paramedic school in 2002 and became a full-time firefighter for the city of Avon, OH, in 2006. Now in his 19th year with the department, John is a shift lieutenant for Charlie Company. In his spare time, John enjoys hiking, traveling, and writing. He lives in Parma Heights, OH, with his family.
