About the Author

Stacy Trasancos has a Ph.D. in chemistry from Penn State University and worked as a senior research chemist for DuPont before converting to Catholicism. She later earned two M.A.s, one in dogmatic theology and one in systematic philosophy, and uses these studies to integrate modern science with these broader approaches to understanding the world and our place in it. She is working on a second doctorate, a D.Phil. (philosophy) at St. Patrick's Pontifical University in Ireland. Dr. Trasancos teaches science and theology courses for Seton Hall University, Holy Apostles College and Seminary, and Belmont Abbey College, is a Fellow of the Word on Fire Institute, and frequently appears on Catholic radio, podcasts, and television.
