Rev. Michael White is a priest of the Archdiocese of Baltimore and pastor of Church of the Nativity in Timonium, Maryland. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Loyola University Maryland and his graduate degrees in sacred theology and ecclesiology from the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome.
During White’s tenure as pastor at Church of the Nativity, the church has almost tripled in weekend attendance. More importantly, commitment to the mission of the Church has grown, evidenced by the significant increase of giving and service in ministry, and much evidence of genuine spiritual renewal. White is the coauthor of Rebuilt—which narrates the story of Nativity’s rebirth—Tools for Rebuilding, Rebuilding Your Message, and The Rebuilt Field Guide
“Michael White and Tom Corcoran have a unique way of incorporating scripture that doesn’t come off as preachy, but rather it is relatable, engaging, and applicable to most everyday Catholics who sit in our pews.” --David Landa, Director of Parish Life, St. Philip the Apostle Church, Pasadena, California
“As a life-long practicing Catholic, I am continually searching for relatable sources to deepen my faith and my understanding. These concise messages give me a sense of validation and belonging as fresh insights on the human experience are presented. I appreciate being met as a person on the journey and the practical reminders offered to help me find strength in Christ and the Church.” --Rebecca Ponder Quick, St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Imperial, Missouri
“Thought-provoking and prayer-inspiring, these three-minute messages will increase the much-desired virtues of hope during Advent and trust during Lent. The authors give enough weighty content to stimulate rich consideration, but keep their messages brief enough to leave time for prayer and self-reflection in the midst of already full days and busy seasons.” --Judy Benevento, Coordinator for Adult Faith Formation, St. John Vianney Parish, Bettendorf, Iowa
