Synopsis

Speak to Me of Love is a delicious Regency Romance set in 19th Century England and Scotland. Living in Rural England, Jessica Templeton falls madly in love with Laird Sean MacLeod, who sweeps her off her feet and hastily marries her. Yet she has no idea that her new husband is her ancestral family's neighbor in Scotland, who has coveted her precious lands and legacy -- a legacy of wealth and prosperity that she knows nothing about, a secret that has been kept from her, her entire life. Jessica was engaged to Sean's friend Sir Henry Morse, but he's smitten by Jessica's younger sister Juliet. Both sisters live with their Aunt Ruth and Great Aunt Dottie MacTavish. But Sean isn't the only one with eyes for Jessica. His childhood rival Rory Mor is hell-bent to possess all that Sean has, including Jessica.

From the Publisher

This fast paced saga is rife with the colors and delightful imagery of days of old, when polite society operated in distinct classes, with a rich culture and tradition all its own. This story has it all: murder, intrigue, kidnapping, deceit, and passions a plenty. Scottish blood runs hot from start to finish. Jessica soon learns that she may not trust her new husband, but one thing she knows -- she can't live long apart from his bed and in his arms, where her own desires are fulfilled beyond her wildest dreams.

From the Inside Flap

Many years after the tragic deaths of her parents, for young Jessica Templeton, life has been hard working and managing Hill Home, the family farm nestled in the English countryside. Upon the death of grandmother, she is shocked to discover that her only inheritance is to become the guardian of her aged and eccentric great aunt, Dorthia MacTavish. The farm she had worked so hard to make successful and prosperous has instead been left to her younger sister Juliet, who has spent all of her days since their parent’s death living in London enjoying the trappings of high society with her Aunt Ruth.

But someone else knows much more about Jessica’s true inheritance than even she does—Laird Sean MacLeod of Scotland, who arrives on her doorstep intent on winning her heart.

If you love a rich storyline with an abundance of twists, turns, and surprises; dynamic and vibrant characters; and endless page-turning thrills, chills, and intimate unbridled passions—don’t miss SPEAK TO ME OF LOVE.
