About the Author
Edith Baer earned a BA in English Literature and a Masters degree in Library Service from Rutgers University. When visiting schools to read from her books, she enjoys the lively participation of her young audience. She has published a number of picture books, and has taught college workshops on Writing for Young Readers for many years. Her award-winning YA novel, A Frost in the Night, and its sequel, Walk the Dark Streets, are set in the Germany of her youth.
