And some that even reach beyond the forces of evil, threatening the very heart of human love and hope. Enter into Author Doug Hirt's fascinating world as he cuts through the mist of history and myth, creating a poignant tale of antediluvian culture, complete with biblical history, angels, and sheer literary magic! From AudioFile:
Atlan is under the rule of Zorin, whose twin brother, Rhone, finds it increasingly hard to stand back in the face of rising tyranny. Giants, magic, dragons, and the overarching struggle of good and evil are present in this fantasy, set in early biblical times. Being familiar with the background of the first Cradleland Chronicle is helpful but not essential. Jerry Sciarrio's narration is infused with a fervor consistent with the intensity of the characters, ranging from a quiet intensity in relation to the creator of the Garden of Eden to the zeal of Rhone's followers, who are intent on taking back their homeland.
