From AudioFile:
Atlan is under the rule of Zorin, whose twin brother, Rhone, finds it increasingly hard to stand back in the face of rising tyranny. Giants, magic, dragons, and the overarching struggle of good and evil are present in this fantasy, set in early biblical times. Being familiar with the background of the first Cradleland Chronicle is helpful but not essential. Jerry Sciarrio's narration is infused with a fervor consistent with the intensity of the characters, ranging from a quiet intensity in relation to the creator of the Garden of Eden to the zeal of Rhone's followers, who are intent on taking back their homeland.
