About the Author
Béka is the pseudonym for the writing team of Bertrand Escaich and Caroline Rogue. Before creating Dance Studio, the duo wrote stories for the children's comic series Footmaniacs, Managers, and Formidable and created the hit series The Rugbymen.
Crip is an artist with a background in applied arts. He has drawn several stories for the educational comic series All About... and designs posters and logos for arts and music festivals.

In dance class the students are gearing up for a performance of Romeo and Juliet, but problems such as a mean girl, young love, and math class keep getting in the way. The publisher has scaled down the trim size of this humorous graphic-novel series while still keeping the text easily readable in order to appeal to young teens. But even though there are some ever-so-slightly racy jokes (such as one about “doing it,” where the punch line goes in a hilariously different direction), nothing keeps this brightly illustrated series from being great fun for older children as well.
