Peter Meinke is the author of fifteen books of poetry, seven of them in the prestigious Pitt Poetry Series, the most recent of which is The Contracted World (2006). He is Poet Laureate of St. Petersburg, Florida, and a faculty member in the Low-Res MFA in Creative Writing Program at the University of Tampa. Artist Jeanne Clark Meinke's pen and ink drawings have graced the pages of The New Yorker (over a hundred times), Gourmet, Bon Appetit, Yankee, and literary magazines such as Western Humanities Review and Tampa Review.
