About the Author

Christine Sapienza, Ph.D., is a Professor and Chair in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Florida, Gainesville, Florida. Dr. Hoffman Ruddy is an associate professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Central Florida, Orlando. She also serves as the Director of the Voice Care Center at the Ear Nose & Throat Surgical Associates, Orlando, Florida, and has worked clinically in this center for over twelve years. Hoffman Ruddy received her Ph.D. from the University of Florida in 2001.
