About the Author:

Linda S. Carozza, PhD, CCC-SLP, is an associate professor of communication sciences and disorders. She is recognized as an academic and clinical leader in the area of adult neurogenic communication disorders. Her research and practice in aphasia and dementia have been presented at national meetings and in international journals. Dr. Carozza has a special interest in the support of patients and families via social model programs as well as outcome effectiveness in quality of life enhancement. She has developed a deep appreciation of the role of both traditional and integrative medicine in the long-term management of neurogenic communication disorders, with community reintegration as the ultimate goal of rehabilitation.

During her career, Dr. Carozza has been associated with leading medical and educational institutions in the field of speech-language pathology and audiology, including the world-renowned New York University Langone Medical Center, St. John s University, and many others. Dr. Carozza is in private practice and serves as a mentor to many professionals.

Dr. Carozza is also the author of Science of Successful Supervision and Mentorship released by Plural Publishing in 2010.
