About the Author
Charles Haddon Spurgeon (1834-92) served for 30 years at the Metropolitan Tabernacle in London. It is estimated that during his lifetime he preached to 10 million people. His collected works (which were translated into numerous languages even in his lifetime) fill over 60 volumes and remain one of the best-selling writing series in history. Christians and seekers throughout the world prize them for their biblical grounding, eloquent text, and simple encouragement.
