About the Author
Sarika S. Gupta, Ph.D., is currently Assistant Research Professor with the Center for Early Childhood Education and Intervention (CECEI) with the University of Maryland at College Park. Dr. Gupta has her doctorate in special education from the University of Maryland, and completed postdoctoral work in early childhood special education leadership at the University of Colorado Denver and the US Department of Education, Office of Special Education Programs. Her research and practice focuses on preschool inclusion, leadership preparation in early childhood, and the statewide implementation of early childhood education and intervention programs. With fellow CECEI faculty, Dr. Gupta conducts research that helps organizations make data-informed decisions to improve early childhood services.
