Synopsis
This book offers an opportunity for children to practice counting and identifying the numbers from 1 to 10. Throughout the book, questions invite children to count the number of certain items in each picture. Other questions encourage children to look carefully at each picture and make a guess or reach a conclusion about what is happening in the scene. As they develop their skills through this book, children will become better prepared for both reading and mathematics.

Most We Both Read books are designed to invite parents and children in grades K- 3 to interact as they take turns reading. This book is designed primarily for pre-readers and early-emergent readers in Pre-K and Kindergarten. A parent or buddy may read the entire book to a child. However, throughout the book the child is invited to actively participate by looking at the pictures and responding to questions.
About the Author
Katherine Blackmore was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. With a BFA in Illustration from the Cleveland Institute of Art, Katherine has been a professional artist for 20 years. She moved to Florida in 1995 to learn traditional animation at The Walt Disney Feature Animation Studio. Today, she resides in Edgewood, Florida, with her husband, Eric, and their 3 cats.
