About the Author
Deanna K. Loftis resides in Louisville, Kentucky with her family. Born in Alabama, she was raised in upstate New York, graduated high school in Jasper, Alabama, married in Indiana, and settled in Kentucky, where she returned to school and earned a nursing degree. She spent several years working between med-surg and orthopedic floors in Louisville hospitals and is a licensed R.N. in both Texas and Kentucky. She again returned to school for a B.B.A. (major in Managed Care), graduating Summa Cum Laude from Northwood University. She spent several years working in a Managed Care position which included following solid organ transplant patients and bone marrow (or stem cell) transplant patients for an insurance company. During this time, she also lost three family members to cancer. Because of the discouraging and horrendous side effects that her family members and patients suffered from chemo, and radiation, she started to question the appropriateness of conventional cancer treatment. As a result, she began an intensive study of alternative cancer therapies which culminated in this book. Though it is already too late for some of her loved ones to benefit from the information she compiled in this book, it is not too late for you and yours!
