Barbara Eikmeier loves all quilt styles but has a special affinity for appliqué quilts. She learned to sew at a young age in 4-H and began quilting in earnest after her marriage in 1984. Quilting became Barb's portable career as she moved around the United States and to South Korea for her husband's job as an Army officer.
Barb conducts lectures and workshops for quilt guilds. She's a member of the American Quilt Study Group, the Appliqué Society, and her local guild, Sunflower Piecemakers Quilt Guild. She lives in Lansing, Kansas, with her husband and an ever-changing entourage of family pets.
