John Deere has been a major player in the evolution of industrialized American labor and large-scale agriculture. The company s tractors and other machines are used worldwide on large and small farms, in forests, on construction sites, and even in suburban driveways. Review:
'John Deere: Yesterday & Today' fills a significant gap in the history of Deere & Company, weaving its culture, products and mystic into the larger context of American history.

The illustrious 175 year history of John Deere is vividly told through previously unseen photos and stories. This long overdue account captures the impact of John Deere, providing a unique view of the products, people and events that continue to take the company to markets around the world. --Neil Dahlstrom, Author - The John Deere Story

If you "bleed" green, you'll want 'John Deere: Yesterday & Today'. America's pre-eminent tractor historian, Robert Pripps, has brought his typical insight and depth of research into this new account of Deere & Company's extraordinary accomplishments. Merging his efforts with the work of excellent collaborators, Bob and his team unearthed new information and gorgeous archival images to make this book a "must-have." --Randy Leffingwell, Author - John Deere, A History of the Tractor
