About the Author

Thomas A. Wayment joined the Ancient Scripture faculty at BYU in 2000 after completing a PhD in New Testament Studies at the Claremont Graduate University. He is the author of From Persecutor to Apostle: A Biography of Paul. Richard Neitzel Holzapfel, publications director for the Religious Studies Center at BYU, holds a PhD in ancient history. A popular speaker at BYU Education Week, he is the author or co-author of many articles and books, including, most recently, Jehovah and the World of the Old Testament.
