Robert O. Parmley, P.E., CMfgE, is co-founder, president and principal consulting engineer of Morgan & Parmley, Ltd., Professional Consulting Engineers, Ladysmith, Wisconsin; serving as the firm s president since 1978. He is also a member of the NSPE, ASME, ASCI and ADDA. Mr. Parmley is a registered professional engineer in Wisconsin and California. He is also a certified manufacturing engineer under SME s national certification program and a certified wastewater treatment plant operator in the state of Wisconsin. In a career covering over five decades, Mr. Parmley has worked on the design and construction supervision of a wide variety of structures, systems and machines from dams and bridges to municipal sewage facilities, public buildings and public water systems, has been a lecturer, and has written over 40 technical articles published in leading professional journals.
