About the Author
Dr. Sai Park is an OB/GYN and professor emeritus from the University of California–Davis Medical School. Dr. Park is also the Founder and President of S.A.M. International (Spiritual Awakening Mission, www.samcare.org). S.A.M. International is a 501(c)(3) which aims to provide medical care and humanitarian assistance to the most desolate regions around the globe. Currently, S.A.M. International runs charity hospitals and charity clinics along the border region between North Korea and China. S.A.M. International also mobilizes medical teams to travel into North Korea and around the globe to assist in disaster relief efforts. Dr. Park is the author of six books published in South Korea. His 2005 book, Doctor’s Bag of Love, upon which The Good Doctor is based, spent eight months on the Korean National Best Seller List.
